Protection of rare bird species
The kite is one Lithuania’s rare birds. Trees with the nests of rare birds (such as the black stork, sea eagle, lesser spotted eagle or black kite) are strictly protected. The habits of such birds and the places they are settled in are continuously monitored by experts.
